from Section OO (seats 7 and 8) at Montlake adam and i watched the Huskies barely fend off Eastern Washington University
This is another picture from my long walk to Cannon Beach from Hug Point last week. That’s big old Jockey Cap in the distance. You can barely, just barely make out Haystack Rock to the immediate left of Lion Rock, which is closest and nearer the shore on Arcadia Beach. I’ve had a good time shooting there in the past. A few years ago I enjoyed a memorable sunrise on Arcadia Beach. It was the first time I used a neutral density filter with real success to photograph the ocean!
I don’t know what the headlines are going to read tomorrow but in-person the Huskies’ opener against the lower division Eagles was not very impressive. I didn’t expect a romp like some people did, but the Eagles passed for nearly 500 yards against the Huskies. Adam’s favorite part of the game was a dancing duel between the teams’ mascots that took place in the fourth quarter. We probably won’t go to another game this season. Tickets for Husky football games are too dang expensive. For what you pay, you’d half-expect bleacher seats with built in butt-massagers and drink straws.
