I specialize in writing and saying things that don’t make any sense.

I guess you could say this is terrible light and it might not be a very good shot and I wouldn’t be offended because you’d probably be right, but it’s one of my favorite pictures I’ve ever taken when I was visiting San Francisco. It’s an unbelievable panorama of San Francisco from Slacker Hill, and I’ve had it all to myself every time I’ve ever gone there. It requires a short hike. Taking this particular picture will probably always rank as one of my fondest memories of SF. I was exhilarated to be in one of the most popular cities in the world but at that moment be looking down on it all by myself.

Tonight I ate ice cream for what I think is the 15th consecutive day. I need the dairy equivalent of a nicotine patch, bad. Sometimes I wish I was lactose intolerant.
