mighty tonka loader
Adam likes his Mighty Tonka Loader. I do, too: I use it for a lot of gardening. The front shovel saves me time and backaches. My only problem is shifting…..the clutch is small.
In an effort to beat the heat we (Diana, Oliver and I) spent the entire morning at Lincoln Park in West Seattle, on Puget Sound. It was at least ten degrees cooler there as compared to our house. It was a lovely morning made a little weird part-way through by an apparently jilted lover a few hundred yards out in open water revving his motor boat in circles screaming over and over “You don’t love me anymore!” We called 911 because the boat was so unstable and the screaming alarmingly crazy. Alas, before the authorities could arrive the crazy boater peeled briny water and went rocketing north up the Sound.
I picked Adam up from preschool this afternoon with his scooter and we stopped at the Volunteer Park wading pool to cool off.
Lucy and I went for a late night walk after everyone else was in bed: She barked at the sprinklers in front of Holy Names Academy.
