tyrannosaurus snow

Adam’s (and mine) hopes for a winter storm have been crushed as of this evening: It’s cold, but clear. Tomorrow I’ll bundle Oliver up and take him for a walk around Green Lake, he and I’ll take advantage of the winter sun. I can’t remember the last time I walked around Green Lake. During Adam’s first winter I walked with him around the lake for exercise on a regular basis, maybe a couple times a week. It was our main social contact with other humans besides the grocery store.  There’ll always be a soft spot in my heart for Green Lake, Diana and I used to live just a half block from the lake. We managed a small apartment building and went for walks around the lake all the time.

  1. The “snow drought” continues in the Chicago area and I can’t say I am one bit sad about it! Ha! Hope you and the family are doing well, Jason. I enjoy your posts–sorry I have been AWOL on commenting of late…
